External Examiner
London Metropolitan University is looking for an External Examiner to start on our large Foundation Programme from October 2023. The programme is based in the school of Social Sciences and Professions and provides a broad based programme of social sciences and academic skills to prepare students for their next year of subject specific study.

Cardiff Metropolitan University
External Examiner
Cardiff School of Management, Cardiff Metropolitan University is urgently looking for an External Examiner for an immediate start for our Foundation Programme based within the School of Management. This programme provides a generic route of study enabling students to access the first year of a wide range of degree programmes within Cardiff School of Management, Cardiff School of Sport & Health Sciences and Cardiff School of Technologies.
The main pathways are:
- Accounting, Economics & Finance
- Business and Management
- Computing & Information Systems
- International Foundation Management
- Marketing
- Sport
- Tourism, Hospitality & Events
The foundation year will include the following modules:
- Academic & Professional Skills
- Information Technology in the Modern World
- Application of Numeracy
- Developing a Research Project
- Marketing in the 21st Century
- Working in Management
Throughout the four-year period Externals will be required to attend approximately two examination boards per year in addition to other online moderation and approval activities. External Examiners will also be required to attend an induction session.
