Not everyone can access a degree via the direct route: it may be that you didn’t do A- levels, that you didn’t get the required grades, that you have returned to study as a mature student or that you have a disability that means you have needed to take this supportive route onto a degree programme.
Every year, we hear some great stories about the journey to a degree including those who’ve given up careers to fulfil a long-held dream, those who left school with few qualifications, those who came through Clearing and so forth. There are so many interesting stories of the journeys into Higher Education and we would love for some of these to be shared within the Foundation Year Network Conference this summer.
Present and former Foundation Year students are invited to submit their story to be shared amongst staff who work in foundation years all over the UK Wednesday 7th and Thursday 8th July 2021 for the conference.
